ABOUT US

ABOUT APPLETREE

The business partners originally met in school, but only post-graduation did they embark on a business venture together. In August of 2011, the partners recognized each other at a team-building seminar of a professional real estate event and the they began talking business. They quickly discovered their shared goals and similar business savvy, and decided to team up in what came to fruition as AppleTree Investments. Roman conceived of the name AppleTree in college and always had big plans for it, but until now, he didn’t know what. Soon, the partners began looking for houses together. They sought investors, took meetings, and hustled until AppleTree slowly started bearing fruit.
After taking roots in 2011, AppleTree Investments began raking in deals every month. The company was investing, buying and selling at any given time. At one point, twenty properties passed through their hands in a single year. After a busy 2013 with a personal highlight of Roman getting married, AppleTree Investments geared up an innovative 2014 with huge development projects already initiated.
The company directors largely share roles within the company, but each excels in different areas. Roman handles more investor relations while others handle day-to-day business affairs. Their minds, however different, have proven to be very complementary.
We always have our eye on the future – how to target stakeholders, ideal homebuyers, investors, real estate agents and other partners.

Roman Cedillo

To build is literally, to create something out of nothing. With Roman's successful track record, it is no wonder he gravitated toward real estate with its necessity for building and development.
Growing up in Mexico, Roman could see real street poverty as well as physical impairment. At a very young age, doctors told his mother, he would most likely develop a symptom that could lead to him not being able to walk. Despite grim outcomes forecasted, Roman underwent several operations, was left wheelchair bound during an early stage in life and was eventually re-examined as symptom-free! He cites this obstacle as part of what made him such a determined person, and overcoming it, as his first real taste of success.
Roman went on to obtain his real estate and notary licenses while in college, then created a website that saw phenomenal success. It shot to the top of Google, Yahoo and MSN search engines, making Roman a substantial amount of money, while still being in school.. One unforeseen agreement blindsided him, defrauded him of everything he had, and left him teetering on the verge of declaring bankruptcy. At rock bottom and still owing large sums of money, Roman made a critical decision – to keep on and not look back. He worked tirelessly until he was out of the red, and hasn’t stopped since. He graduated in 2007 and continued to grow the business, soon after acquiring an office with staff.
With his company running on autopilot, Roman had the time and luxury to make a big purchase – his first home. But one soon became two, then four – and Roman began discovering his passion for real estate. His sights were set on building, and he was intent on doing it from the ground up, just like everything else he had accomplished thus far. Still very young in the world of real estate, Roman, with his growing businesses, was open to receiving help and advice .
Having arrived at a place of comfort but refusing to become complacent, Roman is intent on exploring innovation in systems, strategy and design, and pushing novel concepts that will expand the frontier of home design. According to Roman, a successful product is one that is profitable, impeccably well designed and duplicable.
If you can conjure it in your head, you can create it. That which applies to a dream also applies to building – that’s Roman’s philosophy. And learning how to make your business work for you – that’s his secret to success. Taking advantage of the knowledge of others, finding opportunities, partners, and inspiration – that’s all superfluous. Real estate is Roman’s passion, and that is evident in every project he undertakes.
